This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring attorneys to be in the office several days per week for client meetings, team collaboration, and court preparations, while providing flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. As a Family Law Attorney, you will represent clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, custody disputes, child and spousal support, and adoption. This role demands a balance of strategic advocacy and empathetic client care, helping individuals navigate complex legal and emotional challenges with confidence.

• Representing clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, adoption, and domestic relations.
• Handling litigation in Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts and Circuit Courts.
• Preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements while developing sound case strategies.
• Engaging in negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Providing compassionate and strategic guidance to clients during emotionally charged situations.
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless, high-quality legal services in one of the busiest family law practices in the region.

• Active Virginia State Bar license (required).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in family law, including custody disputes, divorce, and domestic relations.
• Proven ability to manage negotiations effectively and achieve successful outcomes for clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and collaboration.

• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills, with a history of achieving favorable outcomes in family law.
• A solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to client challenges.
