  • Developing comprehensive legal strategies that address clients’ immediate and long-term objectives.

  • Conducting legal research and drafting opinions, memoranda, and correspondence.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding their goals and providing clear, actionable advice.

  • Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated legal solutions for clients.

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia State Bar license (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, or general legal practice.
  • Proven ability to draft complex legal documents with precision and clarity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and collaboration.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience advising fiduciaries and beneficiaries through probate or trust disputes.
  • Familiarity with advanced estate planning techniques, such as irrevocable trusts and charitable giving strategies.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to client challenges.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive compensation package with significant potential for growth based on performance. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and the scope of responsibilities.
