Relevant Law Joins the National Business Aviation Association
Relevant Law has joined the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), reflecting its ongoing work with private jet owners and Part 135 operators, and its coordination with aircraft brokers and other business aviation professionals.
“We’re proud to join NBAA and become more involved in the business aviation community,” said Mark Bold, CEO of Relevant Law. “Our work with aircraft owners and operators has shown us how closely a purchase agreement, an ownership arrangement, or an operating relationship connects to a client’s broader business and personal priorities. We look forward to building relationships with fellow members and contributing a practical legal perspective to those conversations.”
Aircraft ownership involves more than the initial transaction. Owners may need to consider how an aircraft will be held, how responsibilities are allocated under management or operating agreements, and how ownership fits into business succession or family planning. Operators face their own contractual and business considerations as their relationships and operations evolve.
The independent law practices operating under the Relevant Law brand advise on aircraft purchase and sale agreements, ownership structures, management arrangements, and related business documents. This work can include coordination with a client’s broker, tax advisors, technical professionals, and appropriate aviation regulatory specialists.
For Relevant Law, NBAA membership offers an opportunity to deepen those industry relationships and participate in conversations about the needs of aircraft owners and aviation businesses.
“Good counsel starts with understanding what matters to the client,” Bold added. “We want to understand not only the agreement in front of us, but also the goals, responsibilities, and relationships behind it. That understanding helps make legal counsel useful throughout ownership, not just when a document needs to be signed.”
