About the Job

We are looking for highly motivated family law attorney who is passionate about helping and impacting others in various litigation practice areas. This role will partner across teams to help drive success in family litigation challenges for our clients.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for client matters as well as ensuring clients are satisfied with the legal work provided. The attorney will help drive initiatives that improve overall staff performance, profitability, customer experience, and operational performance.

 

Possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups is a must.

General Responsibilities:

 

  • Drives the family litigation brand through best practice approaches.
  • Dissect and analyze best outcome scenarios and approaches to help ensure desirable client outcomes.
  • Manages client litigation needs, including dispute resolution, negotiations, and settlement by leveraging research, passion, and drive, planning, interpreting success, and strategic planning.
  • Designs and implements litigation and dispute resolution strategies focused on favorable outcomes and best practices to improve client success.
  • Works and exchanges information with team members through meetings, presentations, and analysis.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to consult and communicate with clients and team members to guide and set objectives and expectations.
  • Determine what client cases to accept and take on.

 

The ideal candidate will have a mix of the following qualifications:

 

  • Licensed attorney in good standing with the bar.
  • 6+ years of attorney experience. Prior experience in estate planning (including wills, trusts, probate, advanced directives, estate administration) and business law (including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, partnerships/LLCs, commercial transactions, contracts).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and work ethic.
  • Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
  • Sound and practical business judgment and common sense.
  • Track record of establishing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, sound judgment, excellent multi-tasking, and time management abilities.
  • Genuine interest and familiarity in delivering great customer service.
  • Ability to make people comfortable and put them at ease.
  • Ability to boil complex issues down to the bottom line and give advice that can be operationalized (as opposed to legal theory).
  • Has an ownership mentality and take responsibility for your work in a self-organized manner to get things done.
  • Successful track record in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment.
  • Is a leader who is driven to help others.
